The moon is the moon
Day One | Keep Going Inward

The moon is the moon
Shadow and Light
I want to walk
every mountain
And the deepest trenches
I want to know

Sweat and shiver
Dust and spit and nothing
on my tongue

I want to see me
as Moon sees me
I want honesty
and love
Love that holds me
Shadow and Light
So close to the Ground

P.s., Today is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of a 40 day journey of spiritual practice in the Christian tradition.

As spring knocks on the door, and as this wave of pandemic wanes, it may be tempting to jump into busy and distracted, “fix it” or “f*&$ it.” But there is still so much good work to do — right here — within our own beings.

These forty days, you’re invited to continue inner exploration and work. We’ll share poetry, questions and practices to aid you in your journey.

Keep going inward!
Practice restraint. Shed delusions. Heal. Discover.

Peace and breath as we journey

P.p.s., If you’d like to contribute a poem, brief reflection, good question or practice, please let us know. We’ll be featuring words from the community throughout. Just message us info@intertwinene.org
