Welcoming the end | Day Thirty-Seven | Keep Going Inward

The storms will be more frequent
and more intense
So I sit and breathe
and watch and pray

Migrants will come from the south
and east and west
So I learn how to garden
and how to care for the water
(We will have what we need to welcome)

The comforts will keep costing
everything
So I learn joy in fasting
and freedom in prostrating

The only way through
will be together
So I say yes to my neighbor
I give and invite
I risk asking for help

Awakening will birth
from suffering and collapse
So
with humility
and trust
I welcome the end
