Since 2005, I’ve gone through a lot of interviews in France and in the US, which have let me get a taste for some amazing companies. However within this search of the next job, I’ve been stuck in some pretty crazy interviews — in which, sometimes, I even wonder what am I doing here? And, I am definitely not the only one.

So let me inaugurate the medium collection: Interview Disasters. The goal of this collection is simple: gather all the interview experiences that have gone wrong to help companies create guidelines on questions to avoid, and to give interviewees things to watch out for. This collection is open for contributions from everyone about their own experience, whether you’re an interviewer or an interviewee.

Some simple rules:

  • No name should be used: use “Company” or “Interviewer” or “Interviewee”. You can also be a bit creative if you want to.
  • Be respectful: there’s a line between being funny, and being respectful.
  • Feel free to advise on how to make the interview process better! This collection is meant to educate.

That’s all. Looking forward reading all your contributions!
