Sonar Sweeper: Day 1: Advent of Code 2021 — Python Solution

The advent of Code is an advent calendar of 25 coding challenges to solve, requesting a solution to some imagined problem. These challenges divide into two halves, with the first half tending to be a more straightforward problem and some additional complications added to the second half.

If you are not familiar with Advent of Code, I highly recommend solving it yourself before looking at these solutions.
