InterviewX Cancellation and Refund policy

In most cases, canceling your paid subscription on InterviewX before it expires means you’ll finish your current subscription without receiving money back. Once the subscription expires, your InterviewX account will revert to a dormant basic account, and you will no longer have the ability to view, create, or edit your study guides. The only option you’ll have will be to delete content.

After downgrading, your account will no longer automatically renew and no further renewal charges will be applied for that account.

For regions that require refunds

If you live in a region where we’re legally required to issue a refund on early cancellation, you may be eligible for a refund. For example, if you live in the European Union, you can cancel your Paid subscription within 14 days of upgrading or opening a paid account, and you’ll get a refund for the amount you paid InterviewX. Keep in mind, at this point, InterviewX usage is intended to be used by individual U.S. residents, per our terms of service:

“The Services are intended to be used by individual U.S. residents who are 13 years or older.”

We’ll issue refunds as appropriate and applicable.

In these specific cases, we can only help with refunds if you follow these exact instructions:

1. If you haven’t yet done so, submit a ticket at support@interviewx.co
2. Explain the circumstances around your request, with the understanding that we don’t give refunds on existing terms unless required by law.

• Note: be sure to let us know that you live in a region that requires us to provide refunds, and which region that is.

Pro Rated Refunds

When you upgrade your plan on InterviewX, you will be entitled to a pro rated refund based on any unused time on your previous term.

For example, if you upgrade from Standard to Premium exactly 6 months into your term, you’d create a new 1 year term that starts on your upgrade date, and ends 1 year from that date.

You’d receive a pro-rated refund for the UNUSED six months on the standard term (refund of $75, to use round numbers) and would be charged $299, the price of the new plan.
