We’re pleased to announce that Recce now supports validating data model changes in SQLMesh projects. Our mission at Recce is to improve the productivity of data teams, and supporting SQLMesh is another step towards broadening the scope of Recce and bringing data best practices and improved PR review to more teams.

Recce + SQLMesh, a winning hand for reliable data pipelines and enhanced PR review
Recce + SQLMesh, a winning hand for reliable data pipelines and enhanced PR review

SQLMesh users can now take their data PR review process to the next level and:

  • gain visibility into the scope of data pipeline changes with Lineage Diff and related checks;
  • compare development and production with Query Diff;
  • boost their PR review process by communicating and contextualizing data change.

With these features, SQLMesh users can iterate on data pipelines swiftly, and be confident that they are fully aware of data impact caused by code changes in their data project.

SQLMesh

Created by a crack team of ex-FANG engineers, SQLMesh is an ELT platform with a unique set of features such as Virtual Data Environments, which speed up integrating model changes into production. Plus, change summaries are a core feature, making Recce a perfect culture-fit for users who care about comprehensive data change validation and following best practices for improved PR review.
