intimate.io co-founder named 2019 XBIZ Community Ambassador
intimate.io co-founder and Chief Impact Officer, Leah Callon-Butler, has been named one of three new XBIZ Community Ambassadors for 2019.
XBIZ Community Ambassadors are chosen based on several criteria such as exceptional industry knowledge, excellent career accomplishments and outstanding community standing, among other factors.
“Within a short time, Leah has cemented herself as a true business leader and an influential voice in adult tech,” said Alec Helmy, CEO of XBIZ, the adult industry’s leading publisher of business news and information at XBIZ.com and in two monthly publications — XBIZ World for the digital media market and XBIZ Premiere for the retail market. “Based on what I’ve seen so far, I’d say she is one of the sharpest minds in our industry today,” said Helmy.
The responsibilities of an XBIZ Community Ambassador include maximising member contribution to the forums at XBIZ.net, optimising discussion quality and helping to promote the network.
“I am stoked to be stepping into this role,” said Callon-Butler. “Despite being a newbie in adult, the community has welcomed me with open arms and for that I’ll be forever grateful. This is an opportunity for me to give back to those who have believed in me and in intimate.io from the start.”
The announcement comes off the back of intimate.io’s attendance at XBIZ LA, the online industry’s top event of the year bringing together over 1500 top decision-makers from across the United States, Canada and Europe.
At the show, Leah was invited to speak on a discussion panel exploring current trends and future applications for cryptocurrency in adult. She was also nominated for two XBIZ Exec awards: Women in Adult — Woman of the Year and Progressive Leadership Award.

Steve Gottlieb and Andrea Fioriniello have also been added to the elite lineup of XBIZ Community Ambassadors for 2019. Having been in adult since 2004, Gottlieb is a true industry veteran who is known today for his work in affiliate management at Chaturbate. Fioriniello is business development manager at ModelCentro and FanCentro, some of the most progressive companies in adult, that have demonstrated an incredible growth trajectory.
Former XBIZ Community Ambassadors Anna Lee, Kristel Penn and Kelly Shibari will transition to Hall of Famers.
