An introduction to our initiative

How to predict the future? How to perform better thanks to innovative technologies?

These are the type of questions, we are interested in. We believe that by creating a platform in which everyone can contribute, we might give birth to a unique and global community of ideas. Good ideas can be found everywhere and this is the place to share them.

Why deciding to focus on procurement?

Over the years, we have assembled a team of former procurement decision makers and developed a solid experience on what makes a procurement strategy effective or not. Some might say that we are passionate and amazed by what AI, IoT and Big Data can bring to this field.

At the initiative of CKS, we intend to become the leading online place where everyone can freely discuss, present or engage with ideas impacting the field of procurement. This publication is dedicated, in part, to the people who want to anticipate the future. But also, to those who are curious… and those who are ready to transform their organization. There is an ancient Chinese proverb that goes: “When the wind of change blows, some people build walls, others build windmills.” We want to help leaders use this wind of change to become even better.

We are on the verge of an unprecedented revolution for procurement. Despite the ever-growing number of articles trying to explain new technologies, it is still complicated for decision makers to have a clear view on the impacts and risks associated with AI, IoT and Bid Data.

People join us for all sorts of reasons, whether it’s to reach a broader audience, obtain critical feedback or to build professional networks within our community. Others like publishing with us as they remain the sole owner of their original work, and can edit (or delete) their posts at any moment, even after it is published.

Furthermore, our editorial line is composed of consultants, procurement decision makers and tech influencers. At the end of each month, some articles will be selected and shared to a private and highly exclusive community of international AI experts and procurement executives.
