First, let’s meet our CEO, Elio Jordan Lopes. With a background in Design, Game & Software Development he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to IntoTheVerse. He plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s vision, strategy, and growth. In this article, we’ll delve deeper into his background and leadership style, and long-term goals, and explore some of the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for IntoTheVerse.
Next up is our CFO, Ramesh Sachan, whose experience in Finance & Operations and Game & Software Development has been instrumental in the development of IntoTheVerse. He ensures the ongoing longevity and stability of the company. We asked for his insight on managing a Web3 company and his answers offer valuable insights into his approach to leadership, his vision for the future of the industry, and the key trends and technologies that are shaping IntoTheVerse’s success,
The Pursuit of a Vision
When you first meet him, Elio Jordan Lopes evokes a calm, self-possessed demeanor. His tone is sincere, enthusiastic, and amiable, while Ramesh Sachan, emits an honest, genuine warmth and instantly puts a person at ease. He is empathetic and approachable.
Together, they use a combination of transformational, democratic, and laissez-faire methods to ensure that the leadership style at IntoTheVerse reflects these qualities and that communication is always straightforward and positive. They also ensure that as the Co-Founders, they are always accessible.
Each team member also exhibits the same sense of passion and dedication, so we wanted to find out how they have achieved this, so early on in IntoTheVerse’s journey.
What inspired you to start this team, and what is your vision for its future?
Ramesh: The vision for IntoTheVerse has always been to create a game where players have overall control of the game economy and ownership of the assets. My vision for the future is to expand and create an interoperable umbrella of games that can be used by other developers to build on top of the existing games.
Elio: My vision for the future is to expand and nurture the relationships in our core team, so we can strive to learn from each other, and build up an amazing community, that is focused on educating and building a forward-thinking Web3 gaming ecosystem.
Laying the Foundations
How did you assemble the current team, and what qualities were you looking for in team members?
Ramesh: We assembled the current team by looking for sympathetic and good characters in each candidate. They also must have innovative ideas that can be implemented in their work.
How do you motivate and inspire team members, and what strategies do you use to foster a positive team culture?
Elio: We are cultivating healthy working habits. We’re also encouraging members of the team to show leadership, embrace feedback and lead irrespective of titles. I think it’s important to provide polite and actionable feedback. I like to dedicate the earlier part of my day to growing and building with the team and spend the night hours working on my own self-development.
What do you think sets your team apart?
Ramesh: A good attitude and dedication in their work are essential. I also always say that no idea, is a bad idea, and we always consider each and every concept put forward by team members. All team members have equal say in company matters.
The journey ahead
What advice would you give to someone who is thinking about starting their own team or pursuing a similar path to yours?
Elio: I would suggest taking one step at a time, participating in hackathons, and finding a good Co-Founder. Talk to people, read up, and network. Build in the open. Raise capital that would match your needs and not your wants.
What do you see as the biggest opportunities for growth and success for the team going forward?
Ramesh: Once we have our beta launch that will be the start of recognition for the team’s hard work, showcasing what they have worked on, and it’s a chance for them to get the recognition they deserve.
At IntoTheVerse we always give credit for work, and believe building a culture of positive recognition is imperative to achieving success in a company because it shows our team we value them.
I would also like to start a concept of learning at IntoTheVerse so our team has opportunities to master skills that other team members bring to the company so everyone has an opportunity to expand their skillset and knowledge.
