November 2023 data are now available. Available forecasts through until August 2024. Next Release is scheduled to January 5th, 2023. Find below the main improvements and updates made during this release.

Intratec Primary Commodity Prices

Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, China: Final data calculation model updated. Price basis changed. From Oct-2023 onwards, prices refer to spot price, exw.
Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene : Started coverage of ddp, Northwest Europe Prices and discontinued coverage of Africa and Middle East prices.
Aluminum Fluoride, China: Final data reviewed. Price basis changed. VAT was excluded from the spot prices. Spot prices have been reported since Jul-2023 and have been reviewed accordingly.
Aluminum Oxide, China: Final data reviewed. Price basis changed. VAT was excluded from the spot prices. Spot prices have been reported since Jul-2023 and have been reviewed accordingly.
Ammonia, Middle East: Final data calculation model updated. Price basis changed. From Nov-2023 onwards, prices refer to spot price, fob.
Ammonia, Southeast Asia: Final data calculation model updated. Price basis changed. From Oct-2023 onwards, prices are based on netfoward calculations from Middle East.
Barium Chloride, Europe: Final data calculation model updated. Price basis changed. From Aug-2023 onwards, the European prices are based on Belgium.
Butadiene Rubber, Africa: Data series discontinued. Discontinued coverage.
Butadiene Rubber, Middle East: Final data calculation model updated. Price basis changed. From Sep-2023 onwards, prices are based on netback calculations from China.
Caustic Soda, China: Final data reviewed. Price basis changed. VAT was excluded from the spot prices. Spot prices have been reported since Jul-2023 and have been reviewed accordingly.
Cellulose Acetate, South America: Discontinued coverage.
Coconut Oil: Started coverage of Coconut Oil Prices in US, Europe and Southeast Asia under Alcohols and Organic Acids Industry.
Copper Sulfate, China: Final data reviewed. Price basis changed. VAT was excluded from the spot prices. Spot prices have been reported since Jul-2023 and have been reviewed accordingly.
Cumene, Europe: Final data calculation model updated. From May-2023 onwards, prices are based on Germany. May-2023 price was reviewed to match that basis.
EPDM Rubber: Discontinued coverage of prices in Middle East, South America and Africa.
Epoxy Resins, Middle East: Discontinued coverage of Prices in Middle East and Southeast Asia.
Ethylene Vinyl Acetate, China: Final data reviewed. Price basis changed. VAT was excluded from the spot prices. Spot prices have been reported since Jul-2023 and have been reviewed accordingly.
Ethylene Vinyl Acetate: Final data calculation model updated. Price basis changed. From Oct-2023 onwards, Middle East prices are based on netback calculations from China. Discontinued coverage of prices in South America and Africa.
Formalin, United States: Final data reviewed. Jul-23 price was reviewed because outlier trade transactions were detected and removed from calculation.
HDPE: Started coverage of blow molding, injection and film grades in US and Europe. From Oct-2023 onwards, Middle East prices are based on netback calculations from China.
Isobutane, Africa: Final data reviewed. Jun-23 price was reviewed because outlier trade transactions were detected and removed from calculation.
Isoprene, United States: Final data reviewed. Jun-23 price was reviewed because outlier trade transactions were detected and removed from calculation.
Isoprene Isobutyl Rubber: Discontinued coverage of prices in Middle East, South America and Africa.
LDPE: Started coverage of film and injection grades in US and Europe. From Oct-2023 onwards, Middle East prices are based on netback calculations from China.
LLDPE: Started coverage of LLDPE C4 and LLDPE C6 in Europe. Started coverage of injection and film grades in US. From Sep-2023 onwards, Middle East prices are based on netback calculations from China.
Magnesium Hydroxide, Europe: Final data calculation model updated. Price basis changed. From Aug-2023 onwards, prices are based on netforward calculations from United States and China.
m-Cresol: Commodity discontinued. All assessments concerning this commodity have been retired.
MDI Polyurethane, South America: Discontinued coverage.
Melamine: Started coverage of Melamine Prices in US, Europe, China, and Southeast Asia under Aromatics Industry.
Neoprene, Africa: Discontinued coverage.
Nitrile Butadiene Rubber, China: Final data calculation model updated. Price basis changed. From Oct-2023 onwards, prices refer to spot price, exw.

Formaldehyde Resins: Started coverage for Paraformaldehyde spot price, exw in China in replacement to transaction prices. Discontinued coverage of Paraformaldehyde prices in US and South America. Discontinued coverage of Phenol-Formaldehyde Resins prices in Europe, Southeast Asia, South America and Africa.
Petroleum Jelly, Africa: Final data calculation model updated. Price basis changed. From Jul-2023 onwards, prices are based on netforward calculations from fob, India and fob, Germany prices.
Phosphoric Acid, China: Data series description reviewed to correctly match presented data. Prices refer to phosphoric acid, food grade.
Polybutylene Terephthalate: Started coverage of prices in Europe. Discontinued coverage of prices in Southeast Asia.
Polycarbonate, Middle East: Final data calculation model updated. Price basis changed. From Jul-2023 onwards, prices are based on netback calculations from China. Data from Jul-2023 until Sep-2023 were reviewed accordingly.
Polyether: Commodity discontinued. All assessments concerning this commodity have been retired.
Polyethylene Glycol: Commodity discontinued. All assessments concerning this commodity have been retired.
Polyethylene Terephthalate, China: Started coverage for polyethylene terephthalate in China
Polyethylene Terephthalate, Europe: The assessment concerning price cif, Italy has been replaced by ddp, Germany.
Polyethylene Terephthalate, Middle East: Middle East prices are now based on Saudi Arabia.
Polyisobutylene: Discontinued coverage of prices in Middle East, South America and Africa.
Polyisoprene, Central Europe: Final data reviewed. Feb-23 price was reviewed in light of new data released by source.
Polyisoprene, Middle East: Discontinued coverage.
Polypropylene, China: Data series description reviewed to correctly match presented data. Prices refer to spot, PP, raffia grade, exw CHN.
Polypropylene, Middle East: Final data calculation model updated. Price basis changed. From Sep-2023 onwards, prices are based on netback calculations from China.
Polypropylene: Started coverage of injection grade in US and Europe and fiber grade in Europe and China. In addition, started covrage of PP prices in India.
Polystyrene: Intratec now covers 9 price assessments concerning General Purpose, High Impact, Expandable, and scrap Polystyrene in US, Europe, China and Japan. From Oct-2023 onwards, EPS and GPPS prices in China refer to spot price, exw.
Polyvinyl Acetate, Central Europe: Discontinued coverage.
Polyvinyl Alcohol, Southeast Asia: Discontinued coverage.
Polyvinyl Chloride, : The Saudi Arabia-based assessment was retired. Started coverage of PVC prices in Turkey. Discontinued coverage of PVC scrap prices in France and Poland.
Polyvinylidene Chloride: Discontinued coverage of prices in Europe and South America.
Propylene, Chemical Grade: Discontinued coverage of prices in Middle East, Southeast Asia and South America.
Propylene, Polymer Grade: Discontinued coverage of prices in Middle East and South America.
Propylene, Refinery Grade: Discontinued coverage of pricesin Europe, Middle East, Southeast Asia and South America.
PTFE, South America: Discontinued coverage.
p-Xylene: Started coverage of prices in China
Pyridine: Commodity coverage discontinued. All assessments concerning this commodity have been retired.
SBR: Started coverage for Natural Rubber, TSR 20 in Southeast Asia for sake of comparison with SBR. Discontinued coverage of SBR Latex in Africa, Middle East and Southeast Asia. Discontinued coverage of SBR Rubber in Africa and Middle East.
Silicone: Commodity discontinued. Assessments concerning this commodity have been retired, except for Netherlands. To find Silicone prices, please refer to Silicon under Metals & Mining Industry.
Silver, United States: Final data reviewed. Jan-2007 to Feb-2023 prices were reviewed to match current price basis.
Sodium Aluminum Hexafluoride, China: Final data reviewed. Price basis changed. VAT was excluded from the spot prices. Spot prices have been reported since Jul-2023 and have been reviewed accordingly.
Sodium Formate: Commodity coverage discontinued. All assessments concerning this commodity have been retired.
