an ending line;
to the train that never comes,
to the ship that never sails,
scheduled then detrimental,
to all hopes, to them all,

an ending line;
the daydreams that stay in dreams,
the never-enforced best plans,
the fire to the divine scenery,
to all prayers, to them all,

an ending line;
the unsent written 20-year-old letters,
the long-hidden feeling in the deepest crease of heart,
the secret that will live in her grave,
cursed be hopes, cursed be them all,

an ending line; a starting line;
the soul finding its missing piece in the storms,
the skin reviving in the sparks of lightnings,
the wildflower found at abandoned meadows,
to new hopes, to them all,

a starting line;
the dying tree seeking root in the dark,
the glowering flame drying up her midnight tears,
the screams and cries turning to poems and songs,
to the new her, to the new me.
