what the worst day
of my life
is going to be.

It will be the day
when I send you a text message saying

I’m expecting sadness.

I am stretching my fingers
to expand time
in the
waiting room
of my
disintegrating
heart.

I am expecting
that day of
breaking.

I am waiting
every day
to live with you
just
a little longer.
