Come to Me

You flow through my eyes like a wave,
Glistening in the early dawn.
None shall speak of this moment,
As I stand here by your side,
At your shore.
Your tide creeps at my feet and I feel the chill,
Goosebumps radiating,
Welcoming your song.
Come to me when I am alight,
Whisper in my darkness
And show me my home.
I hear your sighing wind in my ear,
Beckoning me forward,
Patient.
Guiding.
Your foggy caress awakens my sight.
I am here.
Wrapped in the silk of early night,
The winking sun fading through my fingers.
Breathe my breath,
Fill my lungs with hope.
I am standing on the edge of life.
Come to me.
