detachment

my eyes off of you
while my heart is with you

deleted is the number of you
memorized is the address of you

sitting at the cafe solo
but wishing you were
here feels wrong

ordering two coffees for one
’cause hoping you
come here for fun

holding a brown book by hand
but dreaming of your skin,
been done

your name’s still attached to heart
fact is, you’re detached at last.

- I’m still not used to you being gone.
