it wasn’t.

it wasn’t love.
it wasn’t anything explainable.
it didn’t have any promises attached.
she didn’t know if it would stay.

and yet.
Yet, she gave up logic
she gave up sense
and she loved.

she did not think.
she only felt.

and it was beautiful.
so very beautiful.

She was ready.
ready to fall.
because she had laid herself out
completely for this.

She didn’t know how to not.
