There’s a crucial beauty blossoms
through the adaptations.
The Tiger shorn of stripes
can’t hope to hunt, without detection.

The sun has painted all of us
through shifting strokes of light,
it falls on us to form the masterpiece,
by making that connection.

We left behind the oceans
to discover how to crawl,
then raised our paws above the earth
and started walking tall,
We roamed the lands, we shed our hair
our skin exposed and baked then bare
transformed to brave the atmosphere,
each shade a shield from shared despair.

There’s a crucial beauty blossoms
through our adaptations.

We would do well,
to cherish,

our whole blooming spectrum.
