With the blink of a life,
Her spring suddenly seemed a whole lot like winter,
Though the flowers in her hair had survived,
At least, in spirit.

She had danced with many shades,
She had clashed with many shadows,
Yet the seasons and their secret spells
Remained a mystery untold.

Mystery, she thought;
Maybe that’s what made it all, so fun!
Through old and through young,
Through young, and through old.
