Wandering

Wandering stone to stone, alley to alley,
As the miles divert us from our star.

Following glitter for gold,
… Knowing we are destined to be misled
Concentrating but losing the memory of our intent.

On the next by-way, we circle forward — we circle back,
Our path seems complete,
… But our vision is blocked.
