When They Really (Don’t) Understand

I could start this off with, “I love it when people say…”

But that would be a lie. I don’t love it when people who aren’t really listening, ‘but go on, I’m listening,’ respond to your tale of woe with “It can’t be that bad,” in one form or another.

“Your situation** can’t be that bad.”
