At Intrinsic we are very passionate about solving the ever increasing concern of relying on massive amounts of untrusted code to deal with your sensitive data. Modern software development is moving at an exponential speed, and as evidenced by more and more breaches of our data, security practices just aren’t keeping up. Improvements to CI/CD, package managers (npm, pip, etc.) and the thriving open source community lets us write and deploy more code faster than ever. With all of these changes, and increasing amounts of sensitive data being exposed to code, how can we keep our data safe?
We have assembled a group of industry experts in systems and programming language security to build a new breakthrough technology which allows you to continue running as much code as you want without really trusting it. Unlike most run-time security solutions out there, which try to defend against attacks on application code by analyzing or monitoring behavior, Intrinsic protects against attacks by strictly enforcing that your code only executes as expected. This way, we can protect against worst-case scenarios such as having malicious code running on your servers. Our technology is currently being trusted by leading technology companies and top academic institutions.
