History Major

I am not a history major, and I was very surprised by the range of careers that history majors attain. When I think about someone choosing history as their major, I automatically think that they would want to be a teacher or a professor. My current major is Nursing and, for now, I know that I want to be a Registered Nurse, but I’m not sure what specialization yet. Some of the historical thinking skills that I think would help with my current major are: communication, team work, making decisions, solving problems, planning, organizing, and prioritizing.
