My view of the exercise

I absolutely loved this exercise. As we grow up and learn about history, I feel that I have taken for granted how much work goes into the stories presented to me in my textbooks, and what it takes to put together a cohesive narrative. I find the 5C’s to be a wonderful tool in helping me to understand a document, I also have tried to make it a habit of questioning my own assumptions as I read documents. This helps me look at things more objectively and grow as a person as well. I will of course go forward reading narratives differently. I will no longer just take this at face value but question myself as well as the author.
