The book The Hobbit, written by J.R.R Tolkien, is a classic novel that was written in 1932. It’s about a hobbit that goes by the name of Bilbo Baggins that goes on a quest with twelve dwarfs to steal the sacred jewel of the dwarfs from a dragon that took there home away.

The book catches my interest because of what genre it is. It’s an action-packed adventure book that's still relevant today and it was written about 100 years ago.

With this book, I want to learn the reason why it was made. What gave the idea to write such a timeless novel that is still a good read to this day. Because of the popularity of the book series, it was adapted to a trilogy that hits every key point in the book to on-screen.

In the 5Cs, The Hobbit falls under Change Over Time. Why I say this is because The Hobbit originally was supposed to be a children's book, now it's more of a teenager's level of reading.
