Unit 4 Evaluation of secondary sources

Last week I had the pleasure of reading about Brazil’s history and the hard ships the people who lived there had to endure. We also learned about the 5 c’s, these are great words to associated with your historical topics if you have any. The reading strategies I would recommend using when reading historical studies is Predatory reading skills and note taking and reading, both of these reading styles involve paying close attention to detail in reading and analyzing what you read to better further your knowledge of the topic. predatory reading requires a whole new set of skill and mind set you need to involve your self in to fully be able to read scholarly material and note taking is something you need to do to on all material you read, following these strategies will help evaluate and find out the 5 c’s the fastest finding all 5 shouldn’t take that long if you follow the strategies but the two that i think will be the fastest for find have to be context and complexity both of these can be found with in the first few sentences and context might even be found in the title.
