Feature Story

This feature story discusses what questions the Nuggets need to answer after the conclusion of the All-Star weekend festivities.

It was published in the Denver Post and written by Gina Mizell.

Mizell breaks the article up into six categories. She titled them with questions that she believes Denver needs to answer to be a successful team.

I disagree with how she started with the stereotypical comparison of offense and defense. The Nuggets have more demanding issues at hand.

She doesn’t get into the demanding issues until question three. She asks, “How will the Nuggets reintegrate Paul Millsap?”

Mizell outlines the lineup changes and contributions since Millsap’s injury earlier in the season. She warns Denver fans to not expect a smooth transition into Millsap’s return.

Then, she highlights the team’s road struggles for most of the season. That section leads off with their road record being 9–19, but looks at the positive in the discouraging statistic.

The feature critiques the Western Conference standings and where the Nuggets stand coming out of the break.

Overall, it was a job well done on Mizell’s part to feature the team’s standing in the NBA and I agree with most of what was written.
