Life is unpredictable, full of challenges, and sometimes feels like a series of random events. It’s easy to get lost in the chaos and become overwhelmed by the uncertainty of it all. Amor Fati teaches us to embrace and love our fate, no matter what it may be. At its core, Amor Fati is about accepting the uncertainties of life and finding meaning in even the most challenging experiences. This philosophy requires us to let go of our desire for control and certainty. It refers to a mindset in which one views everything that occurs in life, including suffering and loss, as beneficial or, at the very least, necessary.

History of Amor Fati

Amor Fati is a Latin term that means “love of fate” or “love of one’s fate”. One of the earliest founders of this philosophy was the ancient Greek philosopher, Epictetus and I quote.

Do not seek for things to happen the way you want them to; rather, wish that what happens happen the way it happens: then you will be happy.
