If you have been trying to make it big in the IT universe but your employees don’t seem to exhibit the same enthusiasm, there might be some underlying reasons to it. Let us tell you what would really uplift their spirit and drive them to give the ongoing project their best shot.

1.COFFEE. Bring them coffee.

Have you ever heard of an engine that runs efficiently without FUEL? Of course not. Cause that is literally impossible.

Coffee is the exact replacement of fuel for programmers. It keeps them both awake and motivated. It can get them through sleepless nights of coding, and also help with their motivation in the drowsy hours of early morning at office.

So keep them bringing more cups of coffee and let the support staff know not to debate these night owls about it.

2. Soft melodies on stereo

A little bit of melody can take you a long way. It can trigger your creativities a lot more often and keep you motivated to reach the end of the tunnel. Especially programmers struggle with landing on the most efficient logic while working on a long-term project. Putting soft melodies on the stereo can take off their stress for a while and give them new ideas at the workspace.

3. Nap room

One of the reasons behind the gigantic achievements of Google is their exemplary employees. These people are always ready to give their best to the company because the company gives the best to them! It is always a two-way relationship when it comes to the employer-employee equation.

Google treats its employees with care and generosity. The staff members can take rest in the sleeping pods if they have pulled an all-nighter or if they just lack the required energy level.

If you can install a nap room for your employees, you will observe a staggering increase in their overall productivity. Of course, there must be a limit for the nap duration otherwise the lazy ones can abuse this privilege.

4. Creative freedom

We all understand that there needs to be a clear-cut timeline for each project. However, pushing your employees to their limits and pressurizing them on a constant basis will ultimately harm their creative side. Leave them some room for creative freedom and give them time to come up with something truly remarkable.
