This was the best zoo I’ve EVER been to. With over 50 species of mammals, 30 species of birds, 15 species of reptiles, 5 amphibian species, 20 fish species, 2 arthropods, it totals 1,150 animals. It, also, has a nature reserve of about 50 acres that has a hiking trail through it. There was a lot of walking involved. Each animal had a large piece of land to roam, so in order to walk from one exhibit to another, we walked roughly two miles. There was a separate part of the zoo called the Sa Serre Amazonienne which housed a huge amazon greenhouse.
