This reclaimed window greenhouse cost me only $10 to make….

The money was all in hardware: screws and hinges and a couple pieces of wood. Everything else I was able to find in the barn.

It’s built to be broken down into panels and easily stored during the winter. It receives about 8 hours of sunlight from sunrise until early afternoon sometime. It has been exactly perfect for getting our season off the ground.

The roof is a simple lightweight frame sandwiching a thing poly drop-cloth style piece of plastic. Not the best ever, but I already had it on hand and a cheap flexible option in a pinch.
