A Call For Submissions
Welcome to Invisible Idiot, a Medium Publication focusing on stories of language learning.
Did you use the wrong word in a conversation? We want to hear about it! Did you try a new language learning method? Let us know how that went. Have you written a piece of fiction where language learning or language comprehension plays an important part in the story? We want those too.
We are currently accepting submissions. Both original content and reprints are welcome.
Story Rights
By submitting your story you are granting Invisible Idiot the right to publish the story online. This is not an exclusive right, and you are free to also publish your story elsewhere. I am also a writer and I don’t have any interest in doing anything that would prevent you from pursuing your craft.
Payments
All submissions should be done through the medium website. We encourage you to participate in the Medium Partner Payment program. You will receive payments directly from Medium based on the popularity of your story.

How Long Will It Take To Get A Response?
I will try to reply as quickly as possible. That said, I am just one guy (with a day job). If you haven’t heard anything back after three weeks feel free to send me a short email asking me what’s taking so long.
