Modern society has a lot of explanations about why people can’t concentrate. Undiagnosed or late-diagnosed ADHD has taken over TikTok with people sharing advice on how to cope. (Thank you, by the way. Some of those ADHD tips are quite useful.)

Natural supplement products (like CBD) that boast “enhanced focus” or “improved cognition” are all over our Facebook ads.

There’s good reason for this trending topic. In truth, our brains are struggling now more than ever before to simply focus. The worry over cognitive function can, in itself, be a tailspin of distraction:

…Why can’t I focus?

…Is something wrong with my brain?

…Am I ADHD? Am I autistic? Both?

…Am I menopausal?

…Do I need supplements for my brain?

We all worry about our cognitive health. But before you jump on the self-diagnosis train or buy up a six-month supply of RYZE mushroom coffee…let’s take a look at a much simpler explanation for your concentration woes.
