My Children Are Now Dealing With The Consequences of My Father’s Suicide

My Dad died by suicide just before my 13th birthday. It was a really awful time, to be honest. I was the oldest of four children and my Mum was barely functioning. I knew as soon as it happened, it was my job to be the other parent, and to be fair I had been doing it for a while anyway.
