All of us malfunction in some way. What truly matters is how we take those technical difficulties to get back up and put those fragments back together. At some point in life, everyone ends up in the deepest trenches for some amount of time, pondering how we will dig ourselves out and when we will see the light of day again.
Let’s face it; the universe is a hard teacher, and occasionally, things don’t progress how we anticipated them too. Sometimes things appear to go in the complete reverse direction, and when one disparaging instance after another happens, we feel like we are in a no-win situation to get back up. Nevertheless, even if you think you are submerged underneath life’s occurrences and can’t see any way out of the hole you’re in, don’t worry. You will find a strength you have never known. Be proud of who you are and what you have accomplished. Focus on the good, not the bad. Your soul will change, and you will find your inner peace.
I believe the universe continuously tries to steer you on a course that will assist you the best, and you CAN change the rafters and swim back upstream.
Although some things are out of your control, to move forward, you need to stop and think about what sends you backward. One needs to figure out what brings you down so you can lift yourself again. Create a list of the things or people that make you feel depleted or depressed. Then, only you can decide if you would instead rid yourself of these elements from this life, or just put those stressors on the back burner for a while, when YOU focus on getting back on your feet again.
Also, I’ve realized our very own mindset is the perpetrator, so listen to your deliberations and feelings to decipher what they’re telling you. You can fight those monsters and breathe again. You can find the strength you have never known. If your most substantial most inner thoughts seem unconstructive, try to alter those thoughts into what positives or what is the silver lining in each situation. Habitually, the toughest lessons are the greatest ones to teach you something, and you can pick to take them in strides and learn from them or dwell on the pain and unfairness of the situation. One can only hope the best is yet to come.
A lot of times, people get engrossed in the big picture, blinded by how we can start altering our lives by encouraging healthier behaviors or habits. Each day when I wake up, I learned to try to do something that makes me feel good, whether that be meditating a few minutes, making my favorite juice, doing my favorite workout routine, practicing my guitar, writing lyrics, or just only, going outside for a short walk. Whatever it may be, you must find something to start your day right. I did see that these small positive changes brought about a significant difference in my life and have allowed me to climb out of those trenches and shine brightly as the beautiful being that I know I can be.
At times, the weight of our problems seems too hard to carry alone, so don’t ponder on whether or not to reach out to the people who care and love you. I have, in the past, run away from those who care about me, but I’ve come to realize you can ask for help. And the ones that matter will happily lend you a shoulder to cry on, or a helping hand, if you need it, and this is because they want to see you flourishing once again. Keep in mind, we are all a part of the same universe, so I believe we all must help the ones we care about and love when they need it the most.
Little by little, go down the list all the things that make you feel the most stressed and start ridding yourself of these things that, in turn, give you the most anxiety. Start with something small, like instead of throwing your keys down after getting home, hang them up, so they are easier to find, those bad habits can create a lot of turmoil when you look at them cumulatively. I had to develop better practices to live a more stress-free life, so I had to first look at all the adverse habits I’ve picked up on over the years, and work on them.
I’ve also learned that some things aren’t just habits that caused me anxiety but are certain situations and people that have caused me the most distress. I had to hone in on what gets my heart racing and my mind in a frenzy and try to either get rid of myself or modify so I can live a more peaceful existence.
When one has a fearless, confident attitude about life, they become unstoppable and touchable. You become an unrelenting and courageous machine that can take on anything life throws at you and survive. You can laugh even at yourself for all of your ridiculousness, but at the same time, it can make you feel free. This way, one won’t feel burdened or threatened by anything they might face. This life can only win if you let it, so don’t let it concede to get the best of you. You own this life and can reconstruct it into a beautiful masterpiece shall you choose, so make sure to check in with yourself and fine-tune your attitude and follow up with the affirmation “I Own My Own Life” to help bring about the life that you wish and want to see before you.
I would advise against allowing life to get in the way of your real goals and desires; work toward your dreams and wishes every day, and you will start to see the reality you want to unravel before you. Dreams can’t work unless you do, so rather than coming home after work and watching TV, get to work on your true desires. Take small strides every day towards what can light that fire within your one and only soul, and don’t stop until you have attained your dreams. And if you fail, you can and will get right back up again.
No one can tell you what type of life to lead other than yourself and the actions you take to decide what kind of reality you will attain. Regulate your behavior with what you want to see more of in your life, and you can try to set yourself up for a world of universal abundance and happiness.
Many people who feel they don’t know where to turn merely don’t grant themselves the will to switch off from their problems.
I have sat and mulled over everything wrong in my life and then finally realized I benefit myself much more by turning my brain off for a while and just living. I’ve come across many roadblocks, but I have found that it doesn’t mean that I can’t take that detour and find something even more beautiful on the new path I’ve chosen.
Similarly, just because one feels burdened by life doesn’t mean one can’t still do things that make you smile or laugh, in turn, take your mind off the situation.
Make your favorite dish, listen to lyrics from a beautiful song, or anything else that puts you into a state of action, so you don’t fall into the trap of reaction. You won’t have a chance to react to your thoughts if you redirect that energy and give them someplace else to go. You will find a strength you have never known. I know I can see my peace; it’s somewhere there, as I am proud of who I am.
