Why they shouldn’t trust me to draft press releases…

Q1. Who is the primary target for PR? I think we established that it’s going to be Fortune 500–5000 potential customers. The answers here down should flow through that target.

That’s right! Bring on The Fortune 5000!

Q2. What does Invisible do in 6 words or less? How do you want the Fortune 500 customer to remember Invisible?

“Invisible automates repetitive digital work.”

Yo! Fortune 500 customer! Hear ye! I bring you good news of great joy:

The BPO industry and the RPA industry only support your departmental processes. Invisible is the company that will FINALLY bring the power of BPO/RPA to every individual knowledge worker and small team in your organization, ESPECIALLY sales and hiring teams.

That’s where the innovation happens, where the intellectual capital is, where the highest salaries are: and yet the average knowledge worker in the US spends 41% of their time doing repetitive digital work that could be delegated to Invisible, executed by non-college educated workers on our digital assembly line, and then ultimately automated.

It’s like Apple vs. IBM’s Mainframe Computers in the early 1980s: “IBM dismisses The Personal Computer as too small to do serious computing, and unimportant to their business.” Invisible is Personal Automation to the BPO/RPA industry’s Departmental Automation business.

The next time you’re wondering how to cut costs and triple productivity on your teams, ESPECIALLY sales and hiring teams, REMEMBER INVISIBLE. We’re making good on Steve Job’s promise by actually making computers a bicycle for the mind.

Q3. What is the core benefit to the product? What problem does it solve for them? Convenience or cost? My sense is that it’s convenience of handing off tasks to Invisible and knowing they’ll get done well regardless of complexity. Cost is a secondary benefit that should be mentioned by not the focus. An “and by the way”.

That’s right. Invisible is the most convenient way to delegate ever invented in history. You can’t delegate at the speed of thought (yet), but you delegate over email, call or video call, and for complex delegations, you can just show us by screen-sharing and we’ll do the hard work of writing down the instructions.

Because the BPO and RPA industries don’t support individual knowledge workers and small teams, the only alternative to Invisible for most processes is using Upwork, which requires you to filter through freelancers, provide access to your data and accounts to freelancers without security protection, design processes for them, train them to do the processes, QA check their work, and then hire more freelancers as you scale the process.

Invisible is a more scalable, more efficient, and easier-to-use Upwork: it doesn’t matter how many processes you have, or how many hours of work you want done, it just scales. And it’s set up for everyone in your company to use, on all of your digital accounts. Literally everyone in your company can afford an Invisible Assistant. Now that everyone has an infinite delegation resource at their fingertips, they should never do work that can be done for them, and they should only spend their valuable time focused on the highly creative, strategic, or specialized work that they’re uniquely trained and suited to do.

Q4. What is the emotional hook? How can customers connect with what Invisible as a company stands for? This is what will make the story sharable and make Fortune 500 customers want to champion trying Invisible. The utility and metrics are support as to why to champion, but emotion will be the trigger to want to champion.

EVERYONE AT YOUR COMPANY WILL QUIT if you don’t buy them all Invisible Assistants. But if you buy them all Invisible Assistants RIGHT NOW, all of your competitor’s employees will quit and come work for you instead.

Why? Two reasons.

One. Because your people are just like you. You love being the boss and telling them what to do. They will only love working for you if they too, can be the boss, and tell other people what to do. The problem with your company is that it’s not turtles all the way down.

Two. Because people don’t want to waste their time and talents doing work that someone without their college degree can do just as well, and even more efficiently. Study after study has shown that 100% of millennials are a precious, cantankerous pain-in-the-ass, and #resist any attempt to take them off a pedestal. After all, this is their life’s work, their craft. So empower them to be creative, strategic and specialized, to justify their college debt, by giving them their very own Invisible Assistant. Tell them that you’ve just given them unlimited interns, but in exchange, you expect three times as much from them, because they’re so special.

THIS IS A PRODUCTIVITY REVOLUTION. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE.

Q5. What business metrics do we want to share that help tell the logical story? Remember that whatever metrics we share create a future public comp, so ideally these numbers are things that we’ll feel comfortable reporting again in the future that will tell the story of our progress. We’re creating our yardstick.

Q6. What are all the new product updates since Oct 2018?

We launched Website 3.0, which focuses our Process Library on our Solutions for Office Management, Growth Acceleration and People Operations. Also, we’re continuing our legacy of being The Most Public Private Company Ever,™ with hyper-transparent disclosures including our investor deck, due diligence deck, data room, reports and other publications — we think this is the future of open-source, and gives us a competitive advantage in building trust and collaborative context in all relationships.

We launched Client App 1.0, which lets clients log in to see their balance, manage their subscription, and review real-time reporting on all of their active and completed delegations. Coming soon, superpowers: send Structured Delegations directly from the app interface, if you’d rather not send an email or do a video call with your Customer Success Manager. Your Invisible Assistant is the #bestemployeeever.

We launched Digital Assembly Line 2.0, our process and workforce management platform, where we do work for clients. Every week, we’re adding new features to upgrade responsiveness, quality, efficiency, security, agent pay, agent training and more.

To upgrade security, we’re now recording our agent’s screens while they work. This also provides us with additional data to use for automation.

Q7. What stats on Invisible’s effectiveness can you share? (increasing a person’s productivity, a company’s revenue, % of users who use it daily/weekly/monthly, NPS, etc)

Last month, Invisible did about 6,000 hours of work on The Digital Assembly Line for clients. There are 60 million knowledge workers in the US alone, making an average of $67K a year, or $35/hr, compared to Invisible’s $15/hr. So for every hour of work delegated to Invisible, we’re saving a company $20 — and that’s before efficiency gains, as our results per hour increase over time. That means that we’re already saving companies at least $120,000 per month.

But the real story is about productivity gains. Because the average knowledge worker spends 41% of their time doing repetitive digital work that can be delegated to Invisible, that’s $28K per year of inefficient work that Invisible could do for $8K per year (a $480B/yr market opportunity in the US alone), saving companies $20K per year (creating $1.2T of value for clients in the US alone). What on earth will knowledge workers do with all of this time we just freed up — throw a pool party?! No. They’re going to work even harder, and they’re going to enjoy their work even more, because they’re going to be more creative, strategic, specialized, and awesome. That’s why, our double-blind super scientific studies predict that a fully Invisible-powered knowledge worker will be three times as productive as they were before. The major downside is that when that happens, they’ll probably demand a raise. Sorry, can’t help you there!

Q8. How has Invisible increased agent earnings capability and income? (social component)

There’s a shocking statistic: 70% of the world makes less than $10 a day. For those who speak English and have internet access, Upwork was the primary and sometimes, the only, way that they can can tap into global labor market demand. Until Invisible.

On Upwork, workers can’t collaborate, they receive no training, they have no work processes, and there is no work platform. They have to sell and manage clients directly, who send unstructured delegations, don’t invest in their long term career, and have no reason to trust them with business critical tasks or pay them more over time. Even as workers improve over time, Upwork cannot measure their skills, so they have to compete on price. As a result, their income isn’t predictable and they have no real prospect of advancement.

On Invisible, agents collaborate on teams, there’s a strong global community, they receive training, structured delegations, work processes and a work platform. They are rewarded for performance improvements, have income and work shift predictability, an upward career path, and the opportunity to do increasingly complex and remunerative work as they enter the digital class.

THIS IS A CAPITALIST WORKER’S REVOLUTION. We reject the techno-optimist dystopian of the mainstream media: robots and AIs will not replace humans, and we have more to look forward to than Netflix and UBI.

Q9. Can we share with press that you have 20% MOM growth, and set to be profitable this year?

HEADLINE 1:
INVISIBLE HAS REACHED $1M ARR

HEADLINE 2:
HAS A COMPOUND GROWTH RATE OF OVER 20% OVER THE LAST YEAR

HEADLINE 3:
IS GROSS-MARGIN POSITIVE AND SET TO GENERATE NET PROFITS NEXT YEAR, EVEN WITH PLANNED HIRES

HEADLINE 4:

Q10. Can you expand on the philosophical/economic story you want to tell? The one about Invisible being the first company in history that can contain cycles of automation and training within itself.

The mainstream media’s favorite techno-economic nightmare — what will we do if automation replaces 10% of the workforce overnight? — should be just an ordinary Monday at Invisible. By Tuesday morning, those same workers will be retrained on new processes.

We’ve come to the conclusion that in order to build the ultimate automation company, we must also build the ultimate training company. To step on the gas on technological potential, you must also step on the gas with human potential.

Because training and automation go hand-in-hand, Invisible aspires to be the world’s biggest school. We call our training platform The Invisible Academy, and we’re just getting started, but we’re already measuring the speed and quality scores for all of our agents, providing them with materials and tests across all of our processes, and engaging them intellectually through our company book clubs.

Invisible is industrializing process work with our first business line: The Process Line. But our vision is to create premium service lines — The Specialist Line, The Strategist Line, The Assistant Line, etc. — on top of this foundation, so that we can continue to hire aggressively, train aggressively, and provide an ever-upward career path for our agents.
