Assumptions are starting points. Systems require assumptions. If you don’t make assumptions, you can’t stop questioning and start building — you have to start somewhere.
Even math, logic and science rely on assumptions. These assumptions are called “axioms”. Axioms are assumptions that are so basic that so far we haven’t been able to break them down further.
