X-Brina Smart Router is the smart device that embeds in IOEX node. This article is to demonstrate X-Cloud, the private cloud storage on X-Brain device. The X-Cloud function has active now, download IOEX Device APP on your android smart devices and try on X-Cloud.

Before the demonstration, we have installed the IOEX Device APP into X-Brain, such we can see the IOEX Device APP is in the X-Brain’ applications list, and can also see the X-Cloud file is already in the X-Brain ‘ file manager. After confirming that X- Brain has IOEX APP in it, let’s get back to our smartphone and do some files backup via the X-Cloud.
Turn on the smartphone and enter IOEXpress APP, click the X-Cloud private storage function, in here, the file can be easily uploaded to the X-Brain. The file transfer technique is via the IOEX point-to-point directly remote transmission, hereto back up an MP4 file with the size of 96MB directly to X-Brain local device.
In the transmission process, we deliberate to turn off the internet on the mobile phone, once we connect to the internet, the uploaded file will remain in the upload list. Therefore the user no need to worry if the internet gets disconnection during the transmission process.
After a short time. the transmission of 96MB MP4 video file is completed. Now go back to the X-Brain and check if the file is in X-Brain. Like the video, the 96Mb .mp4 file package is perfectly complete, the playback process is smooth, and it is already in the local of X-Brain.
Nowadays, the transmission method still needs to go through the central server in the first place. Means any kinds of files still need to upload to the central server then download by other smart devices form the central server. This method not only cost lots of transmission fee but also expose the data to the third-party, the central server. However, IOEX thinks out of the box and make the decentralized transmission possible. While two smart device installs IOEX APP, both devices could via IOEX point-to-point directly remote transmission to transfer the data to another local storage. Due to the file does not via any third-party central server, therefore could ensure the security and privacy of the data.
