Silicon Xpandas Electronics Co., Ltd. (“SiXP”) was founded in 2016 as a company providing hardware/software design services funded through a transfer investment by Actions Semiconductor. SiXP utilizes successful experiences of Actions Semiconductor applications in various fields to work with partners to form an integrated model of products and services. The company strives to swiftly apply advanced technologies in various fields.
SiXP provides expertise in technologies such as smart retail, cloud projection, and smart voice assistants to target clients such as corporate groups. Two highly specialized functions provided are Smart Retail — Smart Shelf System and AiACS Arm Cluster Servers:
Smart Retail — Smart Shelf System
Traditional advertisements are one-way and rely on a company’s sole understanding of the market for deployment, resulting in heavy ad spending without proportionate results. The Smart Retail — Smart Shelf System can use data to deploy targeted ads for different audiences and create interactive scenarios to increase the sales of physical stores. Through this system, online and offline customers will divert each other. For instance, online coupons can be claimed in physical stores where shelves can simultaneously collect data on customer purchasing behavior to the back-end. Stores can then analyze this data as basis for future positioning of branded products.
AiACS Arm Cluster Server
The cluster server based on ARM chipsets is a technical culmination of the partnership between SiXP and ioeX. The modular design of nodes allows them to be easily managed and maintain high flexibility; each node can run Android apps.
In the future, ioeX will work closely with SiXP to equip all SiXP servers with the ioeX SDK to become peer nodes that can evolve into other applications such as remote virtual smartphones, independent computing to become a decentralized small-scale mining machine, or integrate blockchain technology to act as decentralized storage. We look forward to partnering up in the future for additional applications and establishing a diverse ecosystem.
Soon on 12/12 and 12/13, SiXP and ioeX will travel to Macau to attend the 2018 Blockchain Technology Summit where we will conduct exchanges and share information with guests in attendance.
