WeavAir is a startup company that attended the SU Ventures Incubator Program in 2018 to become winner of the TTA Singularity University APAC Global Impact Challenge.
This resulted in the Taiwanese team travelling to Singularity University in Silicon Valley to attend a 10-week accelerator program and the chance to meet the top AI teams in the world.
The company focuses on advanced air sensors and predictive AI to provide a solution that can effectively reduce energy consumption, reduce the high cost of air distribution systems, and improve air quality. Today, we spend 90% of our time indoors without understanding that indoor air is often worse for our health than outdoor air. The reason for this is mechanical failure due to HVAC system mismanagement, pollution, and 20% energy waste.
WeavAir uses advanced air sensors and predictive AI to manage HVAC systems with precision so that customers can enjoy better air quality at reduced cost. This revolutionary advanced air sensor can be applied to all HVAC systems without additional maintenance costs as the product generates electricity through airflow and temperature difference. Renting the device is free as users only have to pay WeavAir a monthly fee to enjoy superior air quality provided by this service.
In the future, WeavAir hopes to extend this service to cars, trains, and commercial airlines so that people can enjoy better air no matter where they are.
The strategic partnership with ioeX allows WeavAir to harness the company’s blockchain development capabilities to store customer data with advanced decentralized security.
