ioeX、Elastos、Cyber Republic Successfully Concluded

After returning from Macau, the ioeX team immediately hosted a joint meetup on 12/16 in Taipei with Elastos and Cyber Republic.
In addition to the familiar face of ioeX CEO Aryan, Elastos Foundation co-founder Feng Han and Elastos global community organizer Kevin Zhang also attended the event to share blockchain applications.
At the event, ioeX provided some information and limited merch for our friends at the joint meetup.
Memopresso, one of the partners of ioeX also exhibited their photo booth. Attendees were able to print their Instagram photos using the hashtag #ioeX.
ioeX CEO Aryan took the stage as our first speaker and detailed the requirements of a good currency: usability, desirable for use, and sharable. These 3 requirements can be satisfied by digital currencies in any scenario with blockchain and due to this, digital currencies are recognized as a type of real currency.
ioeX reported current development progress to the crowd and demonstrated the beta of the ioeX app. Additionally, we revealed our latest plans and new functionalities that will be released as well as introduced the ioeX node partnership project.
In order to effectively record and reward nodes within the distributed network, ioeX created a duo-chain system consisting of the public and consortium chain. ioeX mining machines that will act as bootstrap nodes in the distributed network will be available for pre-sale on 2/1. We welcome everyone to join the ioeX ecosystem and comprehensively expand the network.
Elastos Foundation Feng Han is an authority figure in blockchain and has authored many books in the field.
Feng Han shared the fact that global currencies have shifted from gold-backed currencies in earlier days to today’s centralized concept with government or central governing agency backed currencies. However, counterfeit currencies are a common occurrence while in comparison, the prohibitive costs of counterfeiting Bitcoin have effectively deterred counterfeit digital currencies. Working on this basis, the decentralization technology of blockchains can support the expansion of credit mechanisms onto the Internet.
Feng Han also mentioned computational thinking. He shared the concept of computational thinking, its applications, and his conclusions based on computational thinking.
Finally, Feng Han stated his belief that the next step for blockchains will produce a new Internet that can guarantee individual’s privacy and rights. This new Internet will bring happiness to all in the near future; currently we are in the phase of building a foundation for blockchain and the next bull market.
Elastos global community organizer Kevin first gave a simple introduction in the concepts of blockchain technology to clarify some common misunderstandings. He drew diagrams on his tablet to help the crowd understand the definition of blockchains.
He then went on to describe the evolution and technology of blockchains, beginning with the how Bitcoins are derived from Proof of Work within blockchains. Next, he stated the second application of blockchains: Smart Contracts, which assisted in the birth of Ethereum. The applications of Bitcoin and Ethereum are only the tip of the iceberg within the limitless potential of blockchains. Elastos was built to bring blockchains closer to the daily lives of people and act as a solution for unresolved problems before blockchain 2.0.
ioeX CMO Neo opened with the theme of “Blockchain Driven Internet of Everything” to introduce the background, core values, and future vision of ioeX.
During the meetup, Neo demonstrated the competitiveness of ioeX through a chart showing the differentiation and advantages of ioeX’s services compared to market competitors. Neo concluded by welcoming the crowd to join the ioeX ecosystem and create limitless possibilities.
