April 2020 has been an event filled month for the iost project, as we continue to march towards mass adoption and iost has continued to maintain its place as a leader in the space, key recap of activities in the month of April is as follows

  1. iost enterprise arm officially joined the BSN-china nationwide Blockchain network, a huge milestone towards blockchain adoption. find out more here

2. iost also achieved a partnership with south Korea decentralized global logistics project dkargo to explore blockchain potentials in the logistics industry

3. A popular exchange is south Korea Bithumb announce the launch of staking as a service and iost as the first cryptocurrency that will be available for staking

4. it was an exciting news when iost joined and became a part of the university of zurich blockchain for summer school , Terrace wang the co-founder of the iost blockchain will be sharing his knowledge with the students

5. the iost team started a collaboration with coinbene research institute to boost global business opportunities, brand building and also to enhance market adoption

6. The iost team officially released IRC-721 NFT standard , tapping on a new blockchain application from asset intereoperability , crypto collectibles or digital arts.

7. The unveiling of plan X by the iost team was a great initiative which gives life to creative blockchain ideas from both developers and community members.

8. This month also saw the addition of iost as a flexible deposits on binance savings

9. The excitment continued as the co-founder and CTO terrace wang held an AMA with the community, answering questions and interacting with the community

10. The iost blockchain was ranked 3 in basic Tech and 5 in the CCID global index

11. The mainnet olympus V3.3.3 was officially released, greatly improving the efficiency of developing Dapps on the platform

12. ViewToken wallet enabled support for iost mainnet with features of private key importation and transfer functions

13. a campaign was hosted by the platform “WEWEARMASKS” aimed at helping to fight the Covid-19 pandemic ravaging mankind

14. To increase its international presence, iost has joined the leading blockchain powered social media platform Uptrennd

15. Six new partner nodes joined the ecosystem

16. China ranked iost as the third most secured and decentralised project
