Interview with IOST Candidate Node: IOST Game
IOST Game took time from their busy schedule to answer questions from the IOST team regarding their company and vision, IOST election, and plans for IOST Mainnet. Read on to learn about this awesome partner joining the IOST ecosystem!
Q1: Why did you choose to join the IOST partner plan?
A: There are 2 main reasons for IOST Game to join the IOST community.
1. Relying on its POB consensus algorithm, IOST is an efficient blockchain network. It allows users to make fast & cheap transactions, making an outstanding user experience possible, which is what IOST GAME wants to provide for our players.
2. We highly agree with IOST’s idea of providing services and applications for more people, especially those who are not very familiar with blockchain technology, which is also the objective of the IOST Game team.
Q2: How are you going to work with IOST in the future?
IOST Game will be building the Realm 10 ecosystem on the IOST network. Realm 10 is a blockchain game that we are working on at the moment. We believe that with fast transaction speed and low transaction fees, IOST can provide a better gaming experience for gamers. In the mean time, by providing high-quality game content and effective incentives in Realm 10, we will try to have non-IOST holders truly enjoy benefits from decentralization & creation, and have them start embracing cryptocurrencies.
Q3 How are you going to get more votes using your strength?
The Realm 10 team focuses on creating game content, designing token incentive mechanisms, and providing development kits for players to gamify their creative ideas.
Therefore, Realm 10 (sandbox game) will firstly try to attract more players into this virtual world built on the blockchain, and then encourage players to participate in creating new content in game with both honor and token incentives. Eventually, we will return value created by players to them through IOST smart contracts.
In a word, we will get more votes when more gamers have fun in Realm 10.
Q4: Do you have an additional incentive plan for IOST supporters?
Yes, we have. Other than the official incentives, we will offer additional token rewards for our supporters. The more the votes, the more the token rewards. A more detailed plan will be released on our site: realm10.com
Q5: What will be the roadmap if you are elected? Or what’s the campaign plan during and after the election?
First off, we believe that a good game product speaks louder than any campaigns. Hence, our campaign plan is closely connected with the construction of our game product & ecosystem.
After being elected, we will still give it top priority to develop our game ecosystem. Stage 1 is to complete all game features and launch browser version and app version. The browser version is supposed to be ready in May 2019 and the app version in June. To encourage more high-quality content and get more players, we will also start our incentive plan as soon as the game is live. And in Q4 of 2019, we will be able to complete the development of World of Tinkers, a community and development kits for content creators, to provide gamers with a professional creation platform.
Q6: Is there anything you want to speak to our token holders? (Campaign slogan)
The IOST blockchain network enables players to realize their rights, obligations and benefits in Realm 10 ecosystem, helping develop a community consensuses based on game content. We sincerely hope that by being one of the IOST nodes, we can bring more fun for gamers and IOST ecosystem.

Q7: What’s the relationship of IOST GAME and IOST Official?
The IOST GAME team is the core dev team of the Realm 10 gaming ecosystem. We are actually a distributed team with members from the US, China, Singapore and Canada who are all veterans in game and blockchain development. What has to be clarified is that the IOST GAME team is not an arm of the IOST official. We are a third party team that wants to contribute more high-quality blockchain games for IOST ecosystem.
Q8: Based on past dApp development experience, any proudest dApp you want to share with us?
Indeed, while working on Realm 10, part of the IOST GAME team members had developed several dApps on other blockchains, such as Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and TRON. And some of them did get quite a good performance and made considerable profits for the team. But if it is about the proudest dApp, then it must be Realm 10 itself. This is the product that we have been pouring all our passion and effort into since the establishment of the team in early 2018. We believe that with all the experience we have, Realm 10 will be a true dapp beyond imagination.
Q9: For previous products, will there be an IOST version?
I am afraid not as we have decided to develop our best product Realm 10 on IOST. Hence, we will do our utmost to make it perfect. Hopefully, with the effort of the developers and players, we can make Realm 10 a product that will be remembered by history.
Q10: Will IOST GAME be willing to share development experience with the IOST developer community to help grow the IOST ecosystem?
Our vision is to have more people participate in this distributed collaboration system. So, to this end, we are more than happy to share anything with anyone who wants to join this community. We also hope that by doing so, more and more developers will join the IOST ecosystem.
Q11: What kind of DAPP will be released on IOST and what’s the roadmap?
Like we’ve mentioned before, we will release the Realm 10 ecosystem on IOST, including the Realm 10 game and the World of Tinkers development kits.
