IOST Awarded Standing Member Of The Consensus Committee Under China Software Association Alongside Tech Giants

Co-hosted by China Enterprise News and the software association, the 17th China Enterprise Development & Blockchain Forum took place in The Great Hall of the People on Dec 21 and was attended by more than 500 participants including state leaders, mayors, scientists, and entrepreneurs.

This forum was the first blockchain summit organized to answer the government’s call for innovation. After addresses given by Cui Zhiru, the Secretary General of the Blockchain branch of China Software Association and Xing Chunxiao, Deputy Dean of Internet Research Organization of Qinghua University, IOST co-founder Terry delivered his speech as the first special guest, followed by Cai, the representative from Tencent virtual bank and Xiao Wei, the manager of Baidu SuperChain.

Terry talked about blockchain’s technical features and secure structure, as well as its application in social services, like charities and governing system. He also revealed that a new business module of public chain plus consortium chain will be applied to better support enterprises.

IOST is honoured to be recognized as a standing member of the Consensus Committee under China Software Association on its awarding ceremony. Other standing members include Inno Fund, Tencent Virtual Bank, Tsinghua Internet Industry Research Institute, Guangzhou Radio Group, etc.

In the future, IOST will proactively participate in the operation of the blockchain branch of China Software Association and conduct exchanges and cooperation with more governments, enterprises, institutions, and universities. IOST aims to provide better blockchain solutions for businesses and promote blockchain adoption in multiple fields. IOST has been and will continue to be a pioneer in blockchain technology advancement, adoption, and commercialization.
