1. IOST Awarded “Top 20 Emerging Innovative Enterprises” By China Enterprise and Blockchain Forum Attended by National Leaders
Recently, Aiou Technology, an IOST ecosystem project and the enterprise arm of IOST in China, was awarded as the “Top 20 Emerging Innovative Enterprises of 2019”.
This event was sponsored by the Enterprise Confederation, Entrepreneurs Association, “China Enterprise News” Group and other units from China. Other award recipients include 360 Security Technology, and Beijing Byte Beat Technology.
After the summit, “China Enterprise News” published a special report on IOST co-founder Terry. In the future, IOST with its deep technical knowledge in the public chain field jointly with Aiou Technology and its strong government-enterprise cooperation in the field of consortium chain will dive into applying blockchain technology in all fields, and promote the innovation and healthy development of the blockchain industry.
2. Aiou Technology, IOST’s Enterprise Arm, Selected As “2019 Chinese Blockchain Technology Innovation Enterprise”
December 26th and 27th, the 2019 Blockchain Technology and Industry Innovation and Development Conference was held at the Qingdao International Conference Center. Aiou Technology, focusing on the innovation and development of blockchain technology and providing professional blockchain solutions for government and enterprises, was awarded the “2019 China’s Blockchain Technology Innovation Enterprise” by CCID (Qingdao) Blockchain Research Institute.
3. IOST Awarded “2019 Most Technologically Innovative Public Blockchain” Award by Cointime
On Dec 27 2019, the “Creation with Times” awards ceremony by Cointime was held in Beijing. IOST, as a representative of the public blockchain technology, won the “2019 Most Technologically Innovative Public Blockchain” award issued by Cointime with its world-class technical strength and high popularity. In addition, IOST was also awarded with the “Top 100 Blockchain Enterprises” award from Cointime.
4. IOST Awarded Standing Member Of The Consensus Committee Under China Software Association Alongside Tech Giants
Co-hosted by China Enterprise News and the software association, the 17th China Enterprise Development & Blockchain Forum took place in The Great Hall of the People on Dec 21 and was attended by more than 500 participants including state leaders, mayors, scientists, and entrepreneurs. IOST co-founder Terry delivered his speech as the first special guest of the event.
IOST is honoured to be recognized as a standing member of the Consensus Committee under China Software Association on its awarding ceremony. Other standing members include Inno Fund, Tencent Virtual Bank, Tsinghua Internet Industry Research Institute, Guangzhou Radio Group, etc.
5. IOST hits a new record of staking volume
The IOST partner node program was launched at the end of 2018 and has achieved great success. As of January 4, 2019, the total amount of staked votes on the mainnet has reached 4.26 billion IOST, setting a new record.
6. Initial Results for IOST Contribution Rankings and Rewards
On January 11, the initial results of the partner node contribution report in Q4 2019 were officially released.
20 nodes successfully achieved Tier 1 status, earning the highest rewards of roughly 1.32M IOST each. In the next phase and in the spirit of fairness, we will now open up a consultative period where any node that disagrees with their assigned tier can query their result. Disputes are open until 23:59 Jan 16th (GMT+8). Final rankings and Contribution System will be released on Friday, Jan 17.
7. Starteos wallet officially supports IOST mainnet
Since the mainnet launch on February 25, 2019, IOST has been committed to building a rich and usable ecosystem. As an important entrance for user’s to experience the public chain ecosystem and an important tool for connecting users to the mainnet ecosystem, wallet apps have always been well valued by IOST. On Dec 23 2019, Starteos, a well-known wallet app in the industry officially started supporting the IOST mainnet transactions. In the future, Starteos wallet will also support more functions of the IOST mainnet, thus providing a full experience for IOST mainnet users.
