IOST Developer Bounty Program Update: 6th Week

Happy new year to all developers and IOST community members! Check out IOST’s 1st developer bounty program update in 2019.

This week we received 22 new applications:

• iOS/Android Wallet: 13 applicants
• Hardware Wallet: 1 applicant
• Golang SDK: 1 applicant
• Ruby SDK: 1 applicant
• Smart Contract Development: 1 applicant
• Smart Contract Development Framework: 3 applicants
• English translation of IOST Docs: 1 applicant
• Farsi translation of IOST Docs: 1 applicant

Project Update:

1. @hoonil Satoshi Kim team has realized series of functions of Chrome plug-in, which includes: login page, transfer page, change network, get balance of user, send IOST token to another user.
2. @Cyril team will have further tests for Python SDK on IOST’s test net Everest 2.0.
3. @Dinar team is entering the last step of Java SDK development.
4. @Binary.storms will begin to develop IOST’s Ruby SDK.
5. @Role team completed Russian translation of IOST’s development document.
6. @Takao Wada team began tol work on Japanese translation of IOST’s development document this week.

Task Update:

1. Python SDK: @Cyril team is making modifications on codes because of IOST’s recent updates of RPC and API.
2. Java SDK: @Dinar team completed the development, the bounties will be sent recently.
3. Ruby SDK: @Binary.storms started the project development and IOST tech team is communicating with the team about detailed information.
4. Japanese translation: @Takao Wada team keeps proceeding the translation as IOST keeps updating its development document recently.

We received lots of application on mobile wallet development recently, the final candidate will be chosen next week and start developing. We would welcome our community members to recommend to us excellent developers or introduce yourselves!

Developer Community on Slack:

Along with a stable growth of number of members, there are more conversations within IOST’s developer community. Some developers already applied for being IOST’s node and began to build IOST communities. As developers are more familiar with our project, some developers are voluntarily contributing to IOST in different ways like establishing IOST’s new websites etc.
