Founder of Art Group — Mr. Daniel Chun
Mr. Daniel Chun is an accomplished engineer and a practitioner of the blue ocean strategy, with three decades of experience in the technology industry. He holds the esteemed CEng certification and serves as a lecturer and innovator at the renowned Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. In addition to his academic pursuits, Mr. Chun is the visionary founder of OpenHeart and Artracx. Furthermore, he holds a directorial position at Remotec Technology Ltd, a venerable 30-year-old company specializing in smart home IoT.
Beyond his extensive technological expertise, Mr. Chun has amassed a decade of invaluable experience in the realms of auctions and art curation. He has been fervently advocating for the convergence of art, technology, and the development of smart cities. Presently, Mr. Chun assumes the roles of:

ARTRACX — Tracking, Tracing, and Trading
Theft, plagiarism, and copyright infringement of intellectual property have long posed significant challenges for artists worldwide. As the art industry has progressed alongside technological advancements, it has unfortunately also become vulnerable to exploitation by unscrupulous individuals, who misuse the very technologies meant to safeguard the rights of artists and industry professionals, thereby undermining their interests.
In response to this pressing issue, Art Group and Infineon Technologies jointly announced the launch of ARTRACX Curator platform and the ENTITLE mobile application and starter kit in 2022, which are designed to support Infineon’s SECORA™ Blockchain solution. These initiatives cater to artists, art dealers, galleries, and other stakeholders in the art industry.
The official unveiling of the ARTRACX project products will empower users within the art industry to establish digital identities for their artworks and collectibles, thereby facilitating the protection and authentication of intellectual property.
The ARTRACX Curator platform and ENTITLE application leverage Infineon’s high-security SECORA™ Blockchain solution, offering users secure storage media for private keys, as well as encrypted authentication and traceability of digital certificates for artworks.
Through the employment of a Layer-1 EVM blockchain, cutting-edge decentralized identity (DID) architecture, and our proprietary Entitle mobile application (available on iOS and Google Play), the ARTRACX Curator title management system enables the activation of ownership for chipsets, including Infineon’s NFC chipsets and private key chipsets.
Moreover, the ARTRACX Curator platform will provide a comprehensive suite of integrated digital services, encompassing the generation of digital certificates, art catalog management, traceability, exhibition records, and even production services for display labels, all offered at no cost.
