IOST & Japan NFT Platform- Palette to Deepen Cooperation in Expanding IPs
2 March 2021, IOST was announced as one of the first projects to join the Japan-based HashPalette blockchain network.
Following up with this alliance, IOST is thrilled to deepen our cooperation to expand more IP (intellectual property) with Hashpalette which has developed its Palette NFT Platform and accelerate the growth of both blockchains’ ecosystems.
IOST has also officially joined the well-known Japanese entertainment consortium- Palette Consortium as a core member of the “Palette Consensus Node Alliance”.

IOST’s NFT Game Gettings Stronger
The second half of 2021 has been nothing short of spectacular for IOST.
July 2021, the IOST-empowered global NFT Marketplace Revival launch became a hit. Built for artists, Revival strikes blockbuster sales in its first week of launch, with a total transaction volume of 1 million US dollars.
Revival NFT marketplace keeps moving forward and growing its global artists pool, highlighting new collaborations on a weekly basis. Beyond that, Revival is about to announce additional massive collaborations with global IPs in the coming days.
August 2021, another name that fuels the growth of IOST’s NFT ecosystem is RIZIN FIGHTING FEDERATION. Japan’s mixed martial arts federation sets to launch an NFT marketplace on IOST by the end of this year, bringing sports NFTs to the explosive IOST ecosystem.
September 2021, rising Play-2-Earn (P2E) Project- Zodium has joined the IOST ecosystem as our very first P2E partner.
Today, we are happy to further our corporation with the Hashpalette team and together explore and secure more IPs and further expand our NFT ecosystem.
Hashpalette: Optimization Entertainment Experience on NFT
“Palette”, developed by the Hashpalette team, is a new blockchain platform built for the next generation of entertainment. It optimizes content distribution through NFT and aims to promote the influence of Japanese entertainment culture through blockchain technology globally. Palette allows the issued NFT access to other blockchain networks via cross-chain technology.
Palette is operated by consensus nodes based on a consensus mechanism. Consensus nodes form the “Palette Consensus Node Alliance” and govern its main network. Currently, some genesis nodes such as IOST, CoinCheck, and ONTology have joined the Alliance.
Palette started the trial operation in November 2020. As the network gets more stable, Palette and the consensus nodes officially announced operation test phrases jointly on March 2, 2021; IOST became one of the first genesis nodes to join HashPalette.
Palette Token (PLT) completed the first IEO on Japan’s largest exchange-Coincheck, It raised a share of 930 million yen (9 million U.S. dollars), and the registration amount is as high as 22.45 billion yen (210 million U.S. dollars).

Seihaku Yoshida Co-founder/CEO
Seihaku Yoshida graduated from the Department of Law, Keio University, in 2013 and joined Boston Consulting Group in 2016. At BCG Digital ventures, he was the youngest venture architect at the Tokyo office. Mr. Yoshida started up HashPort Limited Company in 2018 and has been providing project consulting services to IOST, Enjin, Tezos, etc., in Japan. He is currently a co-researcher of the Graduate School of Engineering at the University of Tokyo and a co-researcher of the “Digital Asset Research Project” of the Keio University Global Research Institute.
Yuuki Matsubara Co-founder/CEO
Yuuki Matsubara founded Link-U inc in August 2013, which is listed on the Main Board of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. He became CEO in December 2014. Link-U has a track record and strengths in the fields of “e-books’’ and “video distribution.” It provides one-stop server development, application development, and operation. Link-U also provides manga app “Manga One” in collaboration with Shogakukan and “Pocket Language ‘’ jointly developed with NHK.
Besides, the former CEO of ZOZO, Yusaku Maezawa, also invested in HashPort in August 2021.
