IOST Joy Snake — Casual Gaming Dapp Has Launched | Try It Today!

On February 25, 2019, the main network of IOST, Olympus v1.0 was officially launched. In just one month after the launch, IOST had exceeded 16 million transactions on the network and is now officially ranked 4th globally, just behind Ethereum, EOS and Tron, in terms of total network transactions.

About IOST Joy Snake

The gameplay for IOST Joy Snake is very simple. The player controls the direction of the snake via the movement pad on the left side of the screen. Movement can be accelerated by clicking the Rocket button on the right side of the screen. Holding this button will maintain the snake’s acceleration.

Similar to the traditional Snake game, the snake grows in length by eating the coloured beans on the screen, while avoiding any collisions with other snakes. The interesting part — when the snakes eat the coloured beans, players stand a chance to earn IOST and JOY tokens!

Green beans represent IOST, and red beans represent JOY tokens. JOY earned in-game allow players to participate in rewards given out by the game development team.

To claim IOST from the green beans consumed, players need to survive until the end of the game countdown. Otherwise, only JOY can be claimed.

IOST Joy Snake — Tutorial

• Open the TokenPocket.
• Click ”Discover” and open IOSTJOY under the “IOST DApps” zone.
• Click on the yellow “Start” buton to start the game!
• Players can click on “Daily Tasks” on the main page of the game to participate in game missions. Players can receive additional rewards for completing daily tasks, and also redeem prizes from this page during events.
• Players can also purchase skins for their snakes for a nominal IOST price. Not only does the skin makes your snake better-looking, an additional weight of +50 gives you more power to start with in the game!

Graduated from Renmin University of China, Joy was previously a product manager in Onion Mathematics, a prestigious online math education platform. He made his first forays into entrepreneurship during college and entered the blockchain industry in 2017. He has extensive experience in product development, and has in-depth knowledge in blockchain ecosystems, DApp product design and tokenomics.

Neo

Co-founder of TEAM JOY and chief game producer. Neo graduated from Northwest University and entered the game industry in 2009. He has participated in several game projects launch by Chinese search giant Sohu, such as The Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils, Xuanyuan Sword and Fishing Joy 3.
