IOST Mainnet Token Burn | 495 Million ERC-20 Tokens Successfully Burnt
IOST Mainnet Olympus v1.0 was officially launched on February 25, 2019, followed by mainnet token swap programs carried out by IOST Foundation alongside exchange partners such as Binance, Huobi, OKEx, Bithumb, UpBit, BigOne, BISS and many others.
494,671,677 ERC-20 tokens were burnt by the Foundation on April 26 and April 29, marking it fifth successful batch of IOST ERC-20 tokens burnt.
Token Burn Records
- First Round: 2,170,000,000 IOST ERC-20 tokens successfully burnt on March 7.
- Second Round: 5,135,325,031 IOST ERC-20 tokens successfully burnt on March 8.
- Third Round: 1,554,755,204 IOST ERC-20 tokens successfully burnt on March 13.
- Fourth Round: 2,082,946,604 IOST ERC-20 tokens successfully burnt on April 10.
- Fifth Round: 494,671,677 IOST ERC-20 tokens successfully burnt on April 26 and 29.
As of today, over 11 Billion IOST tokens have been burnt, representing over 80% of the circulating supply, and successfully swapped to mainnet tokens, in just 2 months post-mainnet launch.
