Citadel

Citadel provided insightful weekly metrics report and biweekly IOST updates for IOST fans

ChainPlay Hall

The world’s first idle game that supports staking mode, rich gameplay, free trading, fight to receive dividends, recyclable cards, fun and not tiring!

There are 19 scenes in the heroic adventure of the Crypto Knights and each of them contains 5 sub-scenes. The players can get rich rewards after clearing the levels. There is also a 24/7 automatic hang-up mechanism, which enables the players to receive generous hang-up rewards. Crypto Knights is initially expected to go live at the end of October.

Both sides of the battle allow up to 20 heroes to enter the battle at the same time (PVE or PVP). The battle is based on a turn-based approach. Both sides take turns to release their skills and the party whose combat power is reduced to 0 loses. Players can dispatch up to 20 heroes. Each hero has an exclusive skill, and cooperative skills can be activated by playing with specific heroes at the same time. Hero skills are divided into 4 genres. Combinations of different genres can be matched to an ever-changing lineup. Players can also sell their own heroes in the hero temple or buy other players’ heroes.

OTBtrade

Over the past few months, the OTBDEV team has been busy working on adding more features to improve the DEX and increase usage. This past week some of those features and plans were announced to the community.

Partnership & Cross Chain

OTBDEV team has declared a strategic partnership with Sherlock Security to secure a trustless migration to the Ethereum chain. This is an effort to expand our reach to multiple chains and create a robust and easy to use DEX that would enable interoperability between chains. It also allows us to introduce IOST to users from other chains.

DeFi and Liquidity Protocol:

OTBDEV has been working hard on getting our Liquidity Protocol up and running. What exactly is the Liquidity Protocol? It’s essentially an Automated Market Maker (AMM) that aggregates with our DEX. The AMM is powered by the liquidity pools that are joined by users. Currently, we have pools for the following pairs as trial runs for our BETA launch: OTBC/IOST, TIX/IOST, and PPT/IOST.

Pay Fees with OTBC

OTBDEV is in the process of altering our fee model to pay with OTBC instead of discount vouchers. In the previous model, users can consume 1 OTBC to earn 10 discount vouchers in return. Each trade that is fulfilled in the order books consumes a discount voucher.

The new model will give users an option to pay their trade fees with OTBCs. Doing so will decrease the fee by 25%. OTBC’s value is determined by the current market value, therefore users will sometimes pay more or pay less in OTBCs, depending on how the market fluctuates. This is a way to add value to OTBC and IOST.

Block Academy

Dapp, a decentralized e-sports platform, focuses on the development of e-sports, e-sports anchors, and regional physical events, and provides live comments. Various popular games are currently on the platform, and more games will be added according to the market and player tendencies. Currently, there are about 120 resident players, getting generous rewards, and great investment potential. The competitive mode adopts a random matching mechanism to make the battle fair, open, and transparent. Users can vote for their favorite team to get token and IOST rewards.
