The IOST On-chain Governance Mechanism officially in operation and the first two proposals have been submitted
On July 1, the IOST on-chain governance mechanism v1.0 was officially put into operation and the first two proposals have been submitted now. These two proposals are from IOSTABC and XPET. All partner nodes are invited to vote on the proposal through the IOSTABC browser before July 31.
Note: All elected nodes must vote the proposals and by this, help in the IOST ecosystem construction. Nodes that don’t participate in this process will be disqualified for the quarterly contribution rewards.

IOSTPay for Magento allows users to pay and merchants to accept IOST CryptoCurrency on their online store. Over 500k online are powered by Magento and growing every day. Receive payments from anyone in the world quickly and easily. IOSTPay uses the CoinMarketCap API to directly convert fiat prices to equivalent IOST prices.
So far, IOSTPay supports three major shopping platforms. In the future, IOSTPay will gradually open support to other online shopping platforms such as Shopify. As more and more online shopping platforms use IOSTPay, the popularity of IOST will be further expanded and IOST will also reach a wider market.
Zelo X PHI
IOST’s partner node Zelo Law Firm in Japan and IOST developer partner node PHI jointly organized an event to celebrate the launch of the Swiss University Blockchain Summer School Program in Switzerland.
As the initiator of the main blockchain infrastructure, IOST co-founder Terry delivered an opening speech and invited three young enthusiastic students from Japan and a lawyer with expertise in blockchain. During the event, the participants exchanged their opinions and discussed the potential of blockchain technology.

QED has developed a one-click NFT issuance tool called “My Unique Asset”, which allows users to easily and conveniently create their own NFT assets. Users only need to have an IOST mainnet account to create their own unique NFT assets by one click.

Thanks to its simple and easy operation, more than 100 NFT assets were created by IOST users within two weeks after the release of this feature.
At present, users can use “My Unique Asset” through the plugin wallet Jetstream and TokenPocket mobile wallet to create NFT assets with one click.
Regarding the release of “My Unique Asset”, the QED team mentioned: “We hope this tool will increase the number of users who create NFT on the IOST public chain, and by this, effectively promote the improvement of IOST’s NFT ecosystem. In the future, our team will develop more products to make it easier for users to use IOST blockchain.”
Heritage Blocks
Heritage Blocks is Korea’s leading content production and promotion team. Recently, the IOST Korean community and the Heritage Blocks team jointly organized a community event.
The purpose of this event is to explain the development of IOST to investors and businesses in the Korean crypto industry and to attract them to join the IOST community. More than 700 people participated in the event and joined the IOST community.
During the event, the IOST trading volume of the Korean exchanges increased significantly. Moreover, the number of IOST searches in the search engine has more than doubled. All Korean community users had to read the IOST 1-pager to participate in the event, which fully increased the understanding of IOST among Korean community users.

At the end of the event, the Heritage Blocks team announced that they will continue to produce content that will increase people’s understanding of IOST, thereby expanding the Korean market’s understanding of IOST in Q3 2020.
